Background

Anthony Davis first appeared in BBC sitcoms in the 1980's as a child performer earning him a place in the Radio Times Guide to TV Comedy.

As a host, compére and quizmaster he presented the quiz show 'Stake Out' on Challenge TV for 3 years and is now the host of Celador's 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire Live'.

He made headlines as the voice of the '2002 Commonwealth Games' opening and closing ceremonies for a global audience of 1 billion viewers. Subsequently he is in demand as an announcer and commentator recently voicing 'The Royal Variety Performance 2004', 'TV Moments', 'Eurovision: Making Your Mind Up', and in March 2005 'Comic Relief Night' all for BBC1.

Currently he can be seen presenting the factual entertainment series 'Day Trippers' on London TV and can be heard in his new live radio show 'The Life Coach' on Capital Life every Sunday morning.

Anthony is also the familiar voice of all ITV channels. His work as a comedian in the corporate sector has seen him host conferences, award ceremonies and press launches for hundreds of blue-chip clients including Microsoft, Sony and Virgin.
