Areas of Expertise
Powerful Talks on Powerful Topics
Selling is not a theoretical exercise; it is a practical, skilled, activity - one that Brendan Power has done and is still doing. He is an expert in improving sales productivity and was recently described as being in the top 2% of salespeople in the UK. He is also recognised as one of Europe's leading motivational speakers. That makes a uniquely powerful combination that can work for you as it has for major companies and organisations on three continents.
LESSONS OF LIFE
Brendan learned about life and business the hard way. As a young boy he became part of the Irish Diaspora, moving to London with his family as economic migrants in search of a better life. What they found, however, was bigotry, abuse and exclusion; it was not fashionable at that time to be a Paddy in The Smoke. As they searched the capital for a home Brendan attended twelve different schools where he learned his first lesson of life - adapt or fail. He adapted, he succeeded, and he now uses this and other lessons, to show his audiences how they can reach their full potential.
His entrepreneurial skills showed through at age 14 when he built his first business, and learned his first sales lessons, buying bulk items from mail order companies and selling them door-to-door in his neighbourhood. His more recent business experience covers over twenty years in financial services sales and management, and ten years in broadcasting where he had a founding role in the UK commercial radio network.
Salespeople relate to salespeople and Brendan is one of the best. No waffle, no theory, no guess work; all his concepts and strategies come from practical experience and have been personally tested in that part of the world known to all salespeople as The Field. Brendan's first book, POWER SELLING, is a consistent best seller and as a professional speaker he has helped hundreds of audiences to become more productive and more effective in their business. His unique style, described by one client as dynamic laid back, incorporates practical, transferable concepts and strategies together with a generous helping of his natural Irish humour.
