For 6 months Gina was on TV in the Channel 4 show The Salon. The Salon team were chosen from over 20,000 applicants to work on the show while continuously being filmed live. The show had around 2.5 million viewers. During her time in the show Gina managed The Salon on several occasions.
Gina regularly appears on TV including several times on the Granada TV show "This Morning" demonstrating beauty treatments, The Salon Series One, Channel 4's Celebrity 4 Go Dating, Bravo's Fashnu's Football Challenge, and BBC1 Test The Nation. She has been an expert consultant to BBC Radio One Newsbeat, So Graham Norton (So TV), Man I Feel Like a Woman (Sky One - September Films), Tiger Aspect, Richochet South and Endemol UK productions. She is the Resident Beauty Image and Lifestyle Guru for Swindon FM and has written for all of the top industry magazines. Many of her beauty and nails images have been published and her work has been mentioned in "Hello" magazine and Woman magazine.
Gina has been regularly featured on the Channel 4 show RI:SE and in Now magazine, OK magazine and Womans Own. She has appeared in the magazines Hair Now, Hair For You and Your Hair, and has modelled for fashion photoshoots for Antony Moscolo (Toni &Guy) and the Daily Star Newspaper. She also modelled for advertising campaigns for The Good Salon Guide, Naturzone Hair Products and Joico Hair Products.

Gina has been involved in the hair and beauty industry for 13 years working her way up from Hairdressing Assistant to where she is now. She is a fully qualified Beauty Therapist, Holistic Therapist, Make-Up Artist, Aroma therapist, Nail Technician, Hair Extensions Technician, Airbrush Beauty Specialist, Body Artist, Nail Artist, and Further Education lecturer. She is also a Business and Management Graduate from Oxford Brookes University and holds the equivalent of 5 degrees and 10 A' levels.
Gina is considered an expert in the fields of Beauty, Holistic Therapy, Make-Up and Nails. Many say she is the most qualified person in the industry. She is experienced in all the usual beauty treatments but also the more modern and creative areas.
Gina is the the winner of the Professional Nails National Nail Competition 2002 and was the first person ever to be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Certification in Beauty Therapy from BABTAC and in Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing from HABIA. She also holds the prestigious City &Guilds Senior Award Licentiateship (LCGI) award in Beauty Therapy
Gina is an experienced writer having written articles for all the beauty trade magazines. She is also a writer and reporter for The Boarder snowboarding magazine and has written for Snowboard UK and Document Snowboard.
Gina is a full member of HABIA (The Hair &Beauty Industry Authority), BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapists &Cosmetologists), FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists), and EQUITY (The Prestigious Actors &Performers Union).
Gina opened her own Hair, Beauty, Holistic &Nails salon in summer 2004.
Recently she has also become the Resident Beauty Expert and a Columnist for a new national magazine called Hair, Style and Beauty.
