Jason is a seasoned presenter having hosted literally 100's of live and pre-recorded shows, most notably The Big Breakfast, Top Gear GTI, ITV's The Web Review Show and Channel 5's primetime Combat Cars. Jason is gadget guru on Granada's This Morning and in 2004 he transmitted his new science series for Discovery, Gross.
He is currently filming a 3rd series of The Gadget Show for Channel 5. Jason is a qualified pilot, electronics DIY'er and gadget and games guru for several national magazines and TV shows. He is also a press-card carrying journalist. Jason has conceived, produced and hosted his own TV commissions Blood, Sweat and Paintballs and Mercenaries. As a former stand-up comedian, he offers a fresh and alternative style, backed up by a solid knowledge of science and technology.
Jason's roots lie in the stand-up comedy circuit and he can boast a long list of light-entertainment hits on Trouble TV (T Spot, Trouble @ Breakfast, Jason On Your Doorstop, Trouble Radio) Bravo TV (FHM Top 100 Girls, World's Most Amazing Videos), Sky 1 (The Hit Mix), Channel 4 (Under The Moon), LWT (Live From The Capital Cafe) and many more. But it is in the arena of Science and Technology that Jason can most readily fuse his personal passions and knowledge with his skills as an entertainer.
Jason is a gadget and technology maestro. A keen collector of 'exotic' gizmos and an ardent techno DIY'er. He is a qualified pilot and has showcased his flying skills on many TV shows including BBC's own 'Top Gear of the Skies' The Air Show and the award winning Channel 4 Schools series Science In Focus. He writes the monthly 'Flight Simulation Column' in Europe's leading PC Gaming magazine PC Gamer and is respected as one of the UK's leading authorities on virtual flight. To that end, it will come as no surprise that his flat houses a five-screen flight simulator with full hydraulics. Jason is an experienced print journalist and Press Card carrying member of the BAJ.
Jason's interest is no mere gadget fetish but a deep regard for the way things work, and how they affect our lives. Not only does he respect and understand many of modern technology's key concepts, he has a knack for making the complex, comprehensible.
