Pete Cohen has a personality and skill that can change people's lives.

Drawing on his talent as a life strategist, health and fitness professional, motivational speaker and author, Pete is not only establishing himself firmly as the top name in his field as a life coach, but also fast becoming a top name in broadcasting and publishing. As GMTV Inch Loss Island's resident motivator and on BBC's Confidence Lab, Pete has become a leading personality on screen with his enthusiasm, sense of humour and compassion. He brilliantly communicates not only with clients, but with a widespread audience through the camera.

This year has seen Pete recognised and respected internationally through defining the 'formula' for Happiness. This has lead to the enormous success of the Happiness Campaign, in conjunction with Thomson Holidays. Appearances in person, on the radio and on television have set the public alight, with requests coming in for Pete from as far away as Brazil and Canada.

Areas of Expertise

In addition to his TV work, Pete has been highly respected in the world of sport for many years, and is consultant to numerous world-class sports people, including Ellen MacArthur, Iwan Thomas and the Arsenal Football team, so much so that Paul McKenna and Roger Black joined him to launch the Sports Success Programme to help athletes improve their performance. Pete is currently undertaking a one on one programme with World Snooker Champion Ronnie O'Sullivan.

His knowledge, psychology and fitness qualifications provide him with a strong understanding of the way people work and their needs for a happier and healthier life, without relying on diets and strict regimes. His motivational techniques are used in a way so that people can control their own well being. With this, Pete works in partnership with Sally Gunnell running motivational executive training programmes called Be Your Best. They have presented to leading Blue Chip companies such as IBM, Pfizer and Schering with glowing references.

As founder of the recent Habit Busting, Fear Busting and Lighten Up programmes, Pete has also been recognised as a successful author of five books that enable people to read and work with Pete to lose weight, beat habits and boost self-esteem.

With all this success, at the end of 2002, Pete agreed a deal with Harper Collins to publish a title each spring for the next three years, making him one of their key authors.

The first of these titles, Fear busting was launched in April 2003.
